By making the information of advanced science and technology more accessible to general public, stimulating young generation's interest in science, and strengthening the network between government, industry and academia, we can help to create such society.
Our Business
Leave a nest was founded in 2002 by fifteen graduate students who loved science and research. Those fifteen students gathered under these three missions: to nurture children’s curiosity in science, to support researchers in science, and to assist development of technologies that create our future. The key phrase for our activities is “science communication”. By “science communication,” we provide various educational support programs that promote science education among community. We hope to regenerate interest in science among young students and aid public understanding of science and technology. Now we are a leading company of science communication in Japan. Today, Leave a nest also offers effective syllabi to universities, provide human resource training programs to enterprises, and promotes technology transfer between university and industry.
Our Strength
All employees at Leave a nest have an advanced degree in science and expertise in various fields of science (e.g. Molecular & Cellular Biology, Quantum Field Theory, Organic Chemistry, Journalist Education in Science & Technology, Plant Cellular Engineering, Pharmacy, Molecular Biology, Applied Biochemistry, and Human Factors Psychology)
